The Nova Partnership: For Apprenticeships & Skills

Getting Essex Working

The NOVA Partnership has a simple aim: to expand the career opportunities for young people by providing high quality, inclusive and focused work-based learning.

WHO we are

Established in 1997, we now operate our service throughout the Basildon, Thurrock and Southend areas through 14 training providers, including three colleges. By gathering together such a rich source of experience and knowledge in work-based learning, we are able to offer learners an extensive and rewarding programme of work, tailored to their needs and those of local businesses and the community.

OUR objectives

Forging strong links with employers has enabled our partners to offer up an exceptional array of programmes for young people through Entry to Employment (e2e) and Apprenticeship. We offer a unique experience for our learners, providing them with a world of opportunities to explore and, in the process, we're helping to build the skills needed for local people to benefit from the regeneration of South Essex and of the Thames Gateway area.

HOW we help

We have assisted more than 13,000 people with our programme of training and advice. By collaborating with other organisations like the LSC, Connexions and Social Services we are also able to support learner development with nationally recognised advice, guidance and information.
