The Nova Partnership: For Apprenticeships & Skills

Ways to Learn

What can we offer you?

The NOVA Partnership offers courses which lets you earn while you learn. Each course is targeted and has a unique focus to ensure that learners can get the most out of their experience with us. Below we have outlined the basic principles of each programme and how they can help you find the perfect career for you.

If you require any further information, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

Entry to Employment (e2e)

The latest in vocational learning opportunities, e2e is available to people aged 16-18 who are unable or unready to enter further education, training or employment. Flexible and supportive, this programme allows us to help you make a smooth transition from school to employment by providing you with tailored vocational tasters (Work Placement) and personal development sessions, including Basic/Key Skills support if appropriate. Your local Connexions centre will be your first point of call if you are interested in joining an e2e programme.

Apprenticeship Programmes

If you are aged 16 or over, apprenticeships enable you to earn and learn through a combination of vocational training and off-site education, complemented by Basic/Key Skills training as appropriate. Covering a wide range of industry sectors - from Social Care to Construction - this programme also strengthens local businesses and results in regional regeneration. Two programmes are available:

Apprenticeships

Lasting at least one year, these programmes usually work towards NVQ Level 2 and Key Skills qualifications, as well as technical certificates like BTEC or City & Guilds.

Advanced Apprenticeships

These programmes last for a minimum of two years and contribute towards a NVQ Level 3, Key Skills qualifications and a technical certificate.
